E. Anthony Rankin, MD

Dr. Anthony Rankin is Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at Providence Hospital, having served in this position since 1977. He specializes in general orthopaedics and joint replacement, using the latest techniques for diagnosis and treatment. His expertise is valued by other orthopaedic surgeons who refer their patients from around the country to his Second Opinion Program. Dr. Rankin was also the first African American President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
